How does the cybersecurity update service work for the GCC serie:
This service, entitles the user to receive updates for the following frequencies and following services:• Daily (anti-malware) • Weekly (DPI application firewall filtering) • Monthly (IPS/IDS, URL categorization, etc) Upon first year ends. If the user wants to continue receiving updates there is a service you can purchase.• GCC-Security-1H => VAP ex btw 75,- Euro => Duration: 1 year since purchase
• GCC-Security-3H => VAP ex btw 159,- Euro => Duration: 3 years since purchase
• GCC-Security-Life => VAP ex btw 309,- Euro => Duration: Lifetime (this means till the product is declared EOL by Grandstream Networks)
In case that the user decides not to expend any further money on updates, the GCC will continue to run with the latest received updates. The functionality will NOT BE STOPPED OR LOST, it's effectiveness however will just became obsolete with time. The user can purchase the service at any given time even after the service is already expired.
