This year, on October 19 and 20th, the Software Development Network hosted the eighteenth (!) SDN Conference! Once again ithe SDC turned out to be a great event.
World class gurus were lined up to speak just for you inform you on the latest stuff for developers using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, DotNetNuke or Delphi. Visitors have shared and extended their knowledge and experience with hundreds of developers. They found out about where languages and tools are going and finally returned home with renewed inspiration.

Also noteworthy, is the fact that within hours after the keynotes on the Sharepoint Conference in Las Vegas (held simultaniously to the SDN Conference), the SDN Conference hosted the first Office and Sharepoint 2010 sessions in Europe, by Wouter van Vugt.
Co-located at SDN Conference the DotNetNuke OpenForce '09 Europe Conference was held. Attendees of the SDN Conference 2009 had free access to all OpenForce sessions and vice versa.
OpenForce Europe hosted, as always, many of the people behind DotNetNuke as speakers. Not only did they offer the attendees the best possible information, but also were they given a discussion opportunity about the future of the platform.

Windows 7 developer event
This year SDN Conference was also hosting the official Dutch Windows 7 launch event for Developers from Microsoft. On monday evening a keynote took place, followed by several specific Windows 7 sessions.
This was not only for SDC 2009 attendees, so several hundreds of developers not attending the conference got a chance to get a peek on the conference too.
Keep an eye on next year
We've already started working on next year's SDN Conference, so keep an eye on this website and on the SDN Website. We'll announce the dates for 2010 sometime soon. Until then, you're well advised to become a member and visit our one-day events.
